Year 3 Teaching Assistant and Reception 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Chorley – September 2024.

 

We are seeking two Teaching Assistants within the Chorley area who show a love for wanting to improve children’s learning and development. One role is within a Year 3 classroom as a general Teaching Assistant, the other role is within the EYFS sector working 1:1 with Reception child who has Special Educational needs and Speech and Language.

Within the Year 3 Teaching Assistant role you will be expected to work closely with the class teacher and build strong positive relationships with the children. Interventions will be planned by the class Teacher, but they will be expected to be carried out and delivered by you – ensuring that the children’s learning needs are met. As part of this role, you have a welfare responsibility, alongside a 30-minute lunch break.

As part of the 1:1 Reception Teaching Assistant role, you will be expected to meet the child’s emotional needs, as well as learning needs. It is important that you build a strong relationship with the child, to assure the best outcomes.

The hours for the Year 3 Teaching Assistant role will be 8.45am-3.15pm, at an hourly rate of £12.90.

The 1:1 Reception Teaching Assistant role will be 9am-3.20pm, with a 1-hour dinner break, at an hourly rate of £12.90.
