Primary-based Teaching Assistant

 Teaching Personnel are currently seeking the correct individual who can work efficiently in our partnership Primary Schools across Ammanford and surrounding areas You will need to be willing to travel to different Primary Schools covering day-to-day supply as well as long-term vacancies if applicable. You will be working around school hours 8.30am-3.30pm (subject to change dependant on school).

What do we look for in candidates?

  1. Willingness to learn and adapt to the fast-paced nature of working in a Primary School
  2. 5x GCSE’s or equivalent/ AND/OR Relevant experience around education or a caring sector
  3. Experience on a professional or personal basis
  4. Understanding around Additional Learning Needs
  5. Creative and happy to get involved in projects, lunchtime supervision as well as after school clubs if necessary
  6. Welsh language preferred but not essential

  • Qualifications and experience
