Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit an experienced and passionate teaching assistant, to join a ‘vibrant’ Burnley Primary School. The position is to start from October 2020 and will run until July 2021 with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract. The school ideally wanted to advertise through the LLC website but due to the COVID-19 they have decided to use Teaching Personnel in order to source the candidate. The role will require the successful candidate to provide in a number of ‘challenging & lively’ KS2 classes, working closely with children with lower attaining pupils. You will be on a set time table each week, with mornings and afternoons in various classes.
The Head Teacher is keen to meet candidates who are passionate about working within education and have a calm and nurturing personality. It is essential that candidates are able to work within a challenging environment and can confidently support pupils with complex and additional needs including social emotional mental health difficulties. Staffs within school are described as friendly, happy and extremely hard working. Experience working within KS2 and excellent classroom based references within the last twelve months is essential for this role.
