Join a secondary school in Bury; ensuring pupils aged 11-16 have the correct support they require within the classroom.

  • Full-time Teaching Assistant role available from October 2020 until the end of the academic year.
  • Supporting students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
  • Opportunity to work with challenging behaviour and with pupils who require additional support.
  • Aid students in both small groups and on a 1:1 basis when withdrawn from the classroom for extra support
  • Earn up to £350 per week, depending on experience

With over 900 students, our client school is in need of an extra teaching assistant to ensure particular students have the additional support they require and that teachers are also supported in the classroom. To be considered for this role, potential candidates must hold experience working within an educational setting with children and young people or hold skills transferrable to working in a secondary school. Any experience with pupils who can show signs of challenging behaviour is desirable.

Our client school is located in Bury and is easily accessible via the A56/M66 from surrounding areas such as Bolton and Rochdale. For candidates who do not drive, the school is also accessible via several forms of public transportation from the surrounding areas of Greater Manchester.
