Teaching personnel are recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to support a double form entry primary school located in Norwich. You would be supporting pupils who may have struggled learning from home over the lockdown period. These pupils may have fallen behind on their work and not been properly engeged in online learning, your role will be to support these pupils with the school work set out by the teacher, in 1:1 and group sessions.

Role requirements:

• Behavioural/classroom management throughout the day
• Offering support to small groups of pupils
• Occasional 1:1 sessions with selected pupils
• Adhering to the visions and values of the school
• Creating a fun/safe learning environment
• Monitoring the development and progress of the pupils and reporting this back to the Teacher

The ideal candidate for the role:

• Experienced Teaching Assistant (Level 2)
• Experience within a Primary school setting
• Knowledge of the Uk curriculum
• Prior experience working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Experience working with SEN
• UK address and right to work
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• Safeguarding training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
