Teaching personnel are look for a psychology graduate to work at a school in the Altrincham area of south Manchester. The psychology graduate will start work on the 5th September 2022 and be required up until the end of the academic year. There is also an opportunity for the educator to transition onto a school-based contract should the initial term in the role be a success. The psychology graduate must have experience working with young people even if this is on a voluntary basis and strong knowledge of how to deal with SEN will be compulsory.
The role will be to support a group of pupils who require special educational needs help in the classroom. The pupils may have autism, dyslexia or ADHD so the ability to know how to deal with these behaviours is expected. Further the psychology graduate will be expected to help these pupils raise there academic grades and ensure they are enjoying school life.

To commute to the school, there is a large public transport interchange in Altrincham which is a 5-minute walk away from the school, this has bus, train and Metrolink options. Further, the school does have a free onsite car park which is free to be used by staff members and connects to the nearby M60 motorway.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
