Position: Teaching Assistant

Location: Abertillery (NP13)

Pay: £12.82 minimum ph

Start: 8th April 2024

Teaching personnel are looking for a passionate individual to join us as a Teaching Assistant! Are you the person to help develop and encourage positive behaviours in young children? This opportunity is for people who inspire and encourage fun in a learning environment.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and materials
  • Deliver effective and engaging lessons
  • Provide 1:1 support to students who require help
  • Create an engaging and nurturing environment for young children to develop and grow their social and emotional skills
  • Be passionate about providing the best care for children

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Hold a Child only DBS certificate that is registered on the Update System
  • Provide two professional references covering 24 months

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
