Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are working alongside a primary school in the Scarborough area, who have an urgent need for a Teaching Assistant to work alongside some pupils with an SEN diagnosis.

The work will be centred around the pupils to support them emotionally, plan to work toward learning objectives, get them engaged in activity and give reassurance and guidance at times when things are not going well. The work will be in line with school opening hours, 8.30-3.30 and will be Monday to Friday on a full time basis. The pupils are in an EYFS setting (Early Years and Reception), with high needs around SEMH.

With an immediate start, the right support staff member will be placed until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of being offered a contract within the school for the next academic year. Alternative work can be found after this point if preferred.
