Teaching Assistant

• Hold or be prepared to obtain a DBS on the update service
• Previous experience working within education or childcare
• Previous experience working with secondary aged children

• Attentive and caring with great attention to detail
• Organisational skills and ability to manage own workload
• Genuine enthusiasm for education and working with young people
• Experience working with pupils with SEN and SEMH is beneficial
• Great communication skills and ability to work well within a team

• Assist the teacher in delivering educational activities and lessons
• Support and supervise students in the classroom and during activities
• Help create and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Provide one-to-one support for students with additional needs
• Assist with the planning and preparation of teaching resources

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
