Due to increased demand, exciting positions have opened up in the Scunthorpe area for Primary School Teaching Assistants. These roles offer the variety and flexibility of supply placements, with opportunities available for EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 starting this month.

The type of work you undertake will be tailored to your skills and expertise, including but not limited to:

  • Small Group Academic Interventions/Boosters: Engaging with small groups for academic support.
  • 1-1 Behaviour or Emotional Needs Support: Providing individualized assistance for behavioral or emotional needs.
  • Supporting Early Years Pupils: Utilizing relevant experience to support younger pupils in Early Years provisions.

The ideal candidate for this role will:

  • Be willing to work a minimum of 2 days a week.
  • Have access to their own vehicle, which is advantageous.
  • Assist teachers in motivating, supporting, and encouraging a diverse and ever-evolving classroom.
  • Facilitate the needs and development of students while recording observations for teacher feedback.

Work hours will align with school opening times (08:30-15:30), with flexible days of work. Occasionally, you may opt for mornings or afternoons, providing you with the autonomy to manage your time around personal commitments.
