Teaching Assistants required for Goole Primary Schools

We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for various roles in primary schools across Goole, ranging from Nursery to Year 6. Part-time, full-time, and long-term positions are available, with the potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in these roles, we seek individuals who are confident, adaptable, and deeply committed to education. Whether you're a recent graduate or a highly experienced Teaching Assistant, we welcome your application. While a Level 2 or 3 qualification is preferred, it is not essential. Relevant experience working with children, such as youth workers, support workers, or tutors, will be considered advantageous. A working knowledge of inclusion and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the classroom, supporting both teachers and students. Your duties may include:

  • Supervising classroom activities and ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Providing additional support to pupils who require learning assistance.
  • Conducting one-on-one or focus group sessions with students.
  • Supervising students during lunch or break times.
