A small secondary SEMH provision in Burnley have approached Teaching Personnel to secure a casual Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role will be to work at least 3 days per week (days vary week by week) in a support capacity. As a support assistant you will work alongside the class teacher and support the pupils of a 1:1 basis.

The provision

Based in Burnley they are highly effective in supporting children with complex behaviours and needs. The pupils are aged 10-16, the pupils will display signs of challenging behaviour as they have experienced trauma and adverse childhood experiences. The provision aims to support pupils in developing self-belief and support pupils in learning how to be effective learners.
