Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Woking and Surrounding Areas
Position Type: Full-time, Part-time, Adhoc

Teaching Personnel partners with various schools in Woking, supporting students in mainstream and specialist SEN/SEMH settings. We aim to create inclusive and supportive learning environments for every student.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll help students reach their full potential. You'll work with teachers and support staff within a multidisciplinary team to provide personalised assistance.

  • Support students in primary and secondary mainstream schools and specialist SEN/SEMH provisions.
  • Assist with individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.
  • Help create a positive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress.
  • Foster positive relationships with students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff.
  • Participate in training and professional development.
  • Passion for working with children and young people.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team player with patience and empathy.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
