A client school in Thornton (FY5) are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to work across their vibrant school. The successful candidate will work with children in all different year groups across KS1 and KS2 to deliver small group and 1:1 intervention sessions. The school are looking for a flexible teaching assistant who will be able to divide their time accordingly, under the instruction of the class teachers, to help to raise attainment across school. 

This is a full-time teaching assistant position that will start ASAP and will run up until the end of the academic year. The opportunity to work on to a school based contract may be possible for the right person

The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and will be comfortable taking full classes where necessary. The school are looking for a practitioner who is able to build close working relationships with children and staff whilst working as a positive role model at all times. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to supporting learning and will have a good sense of humour which will fit in with the happy and energetic ethos of the school.
