Teaching Assistant New

Rikama Education Ltd. is currently working with a special school in Edenbridge who are looking for an of SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible for their Secondary learners, with the opportunity of a permanent role for the right candidate after the initial period. These roles include an initial taster day for you to experience a day in the school.

An Independent Special School built as a converted church, provides education for young people with Social Emotional and Mental health difficulties, including a diagnosis of an Autistic Spectrum Condition, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Pathological Demand Avoidance & Post Traumatic Stress Disorder during Secondary and post-16 phases of education

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

· Must be proactive, adaptable and be able to work in a team
· Support on either a 1 to 1 or small-group basis.
· Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Able to be flexible like support and provide personal care on occasion.
