Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:
- Support teachers in delivering creative and engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of primary school students.
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that enhance learning and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment, ensuring that all students feel supported and valued.
- Provide individual or small group support to students, particularly those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Assist with classroom administration, lesson preparation, and interventions.
We're Looking For in a Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with young children, preferably within Early Years or Key Stage 1.
- A patient and calm demeanor, with the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative in supporting classroom activities.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND, including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Social Emotional & Mental Health needs, Severe Learning Difficulties, and Speech Language & Communication needs.
