TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE

ARE YOU LOOKING TO ENHANCE YOUR SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE WITHIN EDUCATION?

 

As part of joining the school as a Teaching Assistant, you would be responsible for supporting the learning and development of KS3 and KS4 age pupils (Age 11 to 16) who may also have additional needs and/or SEN. You will work in cohesion with the class teacher to enhance the learning and development of the pupils within the classroom. You will follow the schools policies and procedures at all times and safeguarding will be the pinnacle of everything that you do.

 

You will help support with:

-          Small intervention groups

-          General classroom support

-         Pupils with SEN and Additional Needs

-          Pupils who display challenging behaviour

 

Details of the role:

-          Full-time hours

-          Pay £83-95 (dependent on previous experience)

-          September 2024 Start

-          Opportunity to go temp-to-perm (terms and conditions apply)

 

The suitable candidate will communicate effectively with the class teacher to ensure individual needs are met within the classroom and concerns are raised appropriately and within a timely manner.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
