Teaching Personnel are seaching for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is available full time to cover a maternity contract. This position also has the potential to turn permanent. 

ROLE: Teaching Assistant

START: Immediate

LOCATION: Bridport DT6

PAY RATE: £84 - £98 DOE

RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Working with a lovely family feel Primary school. 
  • Looking after the year 5 class you will be supporting the classroom teacher with additional duties.
  • Working 1:1 or in small group, assiststing the class teacher with behaviour management. 
  • Leading small work sessions and ensuring all students are participating and engaging.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working with Key stage 2.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate, that is registered with the update service. TP can assist with this where needed. 
  • Abiliity to engage and support pupils who may need the extra help. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of local area
  • Flexibility and adaptability to different schools & policies. 
  • Level 2 Safeguarding Certificate (TP can provide FREE Course)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
