Teaching Personnel are delighted to bring the opportunity to be working with an amazing secondary school based in Coventry. The school are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistant to work within their school.

 The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant who:

• Is nurturing and empathetic
• Has a sense of humour and approachable demeanour
• Is an adaptable, collaborative team player and can be proactive
• Is patient and understanding
• Has had previous experience working with children in some educational/learning capacity

Main duties include but not restricted to:

• Support holistic learning both in and out of the classroom as directed to by the class teacher.
• Establish excellent working relationships with both pupils and staff and maintain clear communication at all times.
• Engage with pupils appropriately on a level to gain respect and trust.
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment where all pupils can thrive
• Support the children in engaging them in learning activities and help support invidiual children in ways that suit their learning styles.
•  De-escalate high stress situations and escalate concerns to appropriate staff members.

Experience:

The school will accept entry level/university graduates Support Assistant or an experienced Teaching Assistant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
