Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for supply, short-term, and long-term roles in Scunthorpe’s mainstream Primary Schools. For the right candidate, there is potential to secure a permanent position with the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective learning activities.
  • Assist in preparing classroom resources and organising educational activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to students who need extra help.
  • Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • CACHE Level 2 or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with and knowledge of SEN (desirable).
  • Background in psychology or care is beneficial.
  • Overseas criminal clearance if applicable.
