Position: Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences? Join our vibrant school community in Central Newcastle and support the educational development of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Provide support to individual students and small groups to enhance their learning.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources.
  • Support the development of students' social and emotional skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to monitor and record students’ progress.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping children succeed.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and learning strategies.
