The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering educational activities, assist in classroom management, provide one-on-one support to students, prepare materials for lessons, and help maintain a positive learning environment.

A valid DBS check, a Level 2 or above qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, and good communication skills are essential for this role.

Childcare Level 2 or 3 Qualification

A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications, is required.

Prior experience working in a school setting or with children is preferred.

Knowledge of safeguarding procedures, the ability to work well in a team, strong organisational skills, and a caring and patient attitude are important for this role.

A First Aid qualification and experience working with children with special educational needs would be advantageous.

The Teaching Assistant will work within a school environment, following the school term calendar and hours. The role may involve working with children of varying ages and abilities.
