Job Opportunity: Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

Are you an experienced and compassionate Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification? We are looking for a dedicated individual to support a Year 7 pupil with an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) in their first year of high school.

Location: Clitheroe (BB7)

Role Overview: As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to a Year 7 pupil, helping them navigate the school day and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with the school's teaching staff to ensure that the pupil's EHCP is fully implemented, addressing their specific educational and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one support to the pupil, assisting with classroom activities and ensuring their inclusion in all aspects of school life.
  • Implement strategies outlined in the pupil's EHCP, working in collaboration with teachers and specialists.
  • Help the pupil develop social and communication skills, fostering positive interactions with peers.
  • Monitor the pupil's progress, adapting support as needed, and providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting children with EHCPs or similar needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to working with young people.
