Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in Coventry to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant to work on a full time basis for the new academic year!

If you have relevant experience working in schools, nurseries or educational settings, or have experience with children with special educational needs, then please keep reading!

Pay rate:

£83-95 per day (dependent upon experience)

 

Job Role/Responsibilities: 

  • Support class teacher with the delivery of activities
  • Work in collaboration with class teacher to create a a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils grow and thrive
  • Work closely with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils who need additional, focused support
  • Support pupils with special educational needs and adapt activities to suit individual requirements
  • Adhere to schools policies and procedures at all times, ensuring safeguarding is at the pinnacle of everything you do
  • Work effectively within a team, promoting effective communication

 

Qualifications/Experiences:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant L1/2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is beneficial
