Teaching Assistant

ARE YOU A TEACHING ASSISTANT OR HAVE HAD EXPERIENCE WORKING IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS, SUPPORTING PUPILS?

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated teaching assistant to work full time at one of our close partner schools in Solihull. The school is an OFSTED rated "Good" and the team at TP have a very strong relationship with them.

Working hours: Full time (Mon-Fri 8:30-3:30 term time only)

Pay rate: £85-95 per day (dependent upon experience)

Role Qualifications:

• GCSEs in English and Maths
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are beneficial but not essential
• Relevant experience working as a TA or assisting pupils in a supporting role within schools
• Previous experience either professional or personal with children with special educational needs

Responsibilities: 

• Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to support their learning and development
• Assist pupils with special educational needs and provide opportunities for them to thrive
• Collaborate with class teacher to enhance the learning and development of the class
• Communicate effectively with staff and pupils alike
• Show empathy and understanding and be an approachable person
