Education and Training

£83.95 - £95.00 Per day

• Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons
• Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials and resources
• Working with individual students or small groups to provide additional support
• Helping to maintain a positive learning environment
• Supervising students during breaks and lunchtimes

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Relevant experience working with children or young people
• Childcare Level 2 or 3

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Previous experience working with children or young people

• Understanding of basic educational principles
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong communication skills

• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

This role involves working in a school environment, following the school term calendar. The Teaching Assistant may need to assist with activities outside of normal school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
