EYFS Teaching Assistant- Deane (Bolton) (BL3)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a level 2 or above or experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant, on behalf of a school located in the Bl3 area of Deane, Bolton. This is a full-time role starting in September and is running until the end of the academic year to assist with the gaps in learning and the school identifying EYFS as an area that needs improvement.

The Role and School:

  • General classroom assistance, including 1:1 support with children across the class with SEND.
  • Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ school in 2017.
  • Experience working alongside children with SEN would be ideal but not essential.
  • Full-time starting in September 2024
  • Competitive rates of pay (£83.85- £90 a day)
  • To work alongside and provide support to the Early Years Class Teacher.
  • To create a safe and secure learning environment for all children to thrive and develop.
  • To support children with social, emotional and physical development.
  • To ensure all inside and outdoor learning spaces are ready for learning.
  • Experience with Phonics is desired.
  • Experience and knowledge of the EYFS curriculum is a must.

This school is an Ofsted 2017 graded ‘GOOD’ primary school, who have identified the EYFS as an area that needs improvement. Especially in Phonics, maths, reading and writing, therefore experience in these areas is a must. The school is a larger than averaged sized of 400 pupils and has a percentage of pupil premium.

The school has on-site parking and is easily accessible to those using public transport and travelling from the surrounding areas of Bolton.
