Teaching Assistant

An exciting opportunity to Join the support department of our client secondary school based in the centre of Bury, supporting pupils aged 11-16 in varying levels of learning ability.

• Full-time Teaching Assistant.
• Start date September 2024
• Supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
• Providing support for pupils with a range of SEN and additional learning needs.
• Earn up to £1600 - £1700, depending on experience.

The ideal incoming candidate will be expected to provide in class support for identified students with a range of additional learning needs to ensure they have the correct resources to meet their target grades.

To be considered for this role, it is important that you have some form of experience supporting children and young people previously or similar transferrable experience however, any specific experience supporting young people with additional learning needs or SEN previously is desirable.

The school is easily accessible from surrounding areas via the M62, A580, M66 and A56. For non-drivers, the schools can be accessed by a number of public transport links from areas in and around  Greater Manchester.
