SEN Teaching Assistant in KS1

Can you help to raise attainment levels in KS1? Are you passionate about supporting SEN pupils? Do you have experience supporting pupils in KS1? Do you want to gain more experience within a lovely Primary school?

Teaching Personnel is working with an Ofsted rated ‘good’ average sized Church of England primary school in the Bournemouth area to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Key Stage 1 teaching assistant. It is to start in November 2024 and will be at least until the end of the academic year 2025, with the potential of securing a school based contract.

This is a very supportive school that promotes enthusiasm in all of the students. The school has a Christian ethos and the children are provided with a good quality of education throughout the school. Teachers and support staff in this school are eager to raise attainment and give the students the best education can they can do. The curriculum is very well developed and broad. The children are friendly, polite, well behaved and love to learn. All teachers create motivating and engaging lessons which cater to the student’s individual needs.

The SEN department is inclusive and cares for the students really well. The staff within the SEN department provide interventions, booster classes and 1:1 support for the children. The school has specific resources which make a real difference to the children learning experiences. The successful SEN Teaching assistant will be well supported in this school and this is a wonderful opportunity.
