The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the classroom, providing assistance to students with their learning activities. Duties may include preparing materials for lessons, supervising students during class and break times, and helping with classroom management.

Applicants must have a minimum of GCSEs in Maths and English, or equivalent qualifications. A relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience in a similar role is desirable.

Prior experience working in a classroom setting or as a teaching assistant is preferred.

Good communication skills, ability to work well in a team, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting students' learning.

A teaching assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting would be advantageous.

The role involves working during school hours, typically from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Teaching Assistant may also be required to attend staff meetings and training sessions outside of regular hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
