Position: Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Secondary Schools in Bordon
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week (8:30 - 15:00, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only - 38 weeks)
Suitable for: Graduates and Unqualified Teachers

Are you enthusiastic about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of young people? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team, supporting secondary school students in Bordon across Key Stage 3 and 4.

  • Provide support to students across a range of ages and abilities, ensuring they have the help they need to succeed.
  • Assist with classroom activities and help manage student behavior to create a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teachers to support the delivery of the curriculum, particularly in core subjects.
  • Offer additional help to students who may be struggling, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs.
  • Support students' development in both academic and social aspects, contributing to their overall well-being.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to explain concepts clearly and support students in their learning journey.
  • Adaptability: Experience with students of varying abilities is a plus, but a willingness to adapt to different learning styles is key.
  • Enthusiasm for Education: Whether you’re a recent graduate or an aspiring teacher, your passion for helping students achieve their potential is essential.
  • Team Player: Work effectively with teachers and other staff to contribute to a cohesive educational environment.
  • Flexible Hours: Work 30 hours per week from 8:30 to 15:00, Monday to Friday, during term time only (38 weeks), allowing you to maintain a work-life balance.
