- Supporting classroom teachers in delivering educational activities

- Assisting with the preparation of learning materials

- Providing one-to-one support for students with special educational needs

- Supervising students during class and break times

- Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

- GCSEs in English and Maths

- Relevant experience working with children or young people

- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)

- Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting

- Understanding of child development and learning processes

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Patience and empathy when working with students

- First Aid certification

- Work primarily takes place within a school environment

- May involve working with students with varying needs and abilities

- Full-Time hours with occasional requirement for additional hours or duties

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
