As a Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include providing support to teachers in the classroom, assisting with lesson planning and preparation, helping to create a positive learning environment, and working with students on an individual or group basis to reinforce learning concepts.

- Relevant qualifications in education or teaching assistance

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team

- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths

Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred

- Understanding of educational practises and principles

- Ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents

- Proficient in using educational resources and technology

- Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools

- First Aid certification

You will be working in a classroom environment within a school setting. The role may involve some physical activity and the need to adapt to different learning styles and abilities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
