Teaching Personnel are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School located in Shirehampton, Bristol with immediate start. The working hours are between 8:30am-3:30pm, the hours will be flexible and there will be opportunities for long term positions as well.

The school itself is a Catholic Primary School which underpins their curriculum and core values. Their identity as a faith school is strong, as is their belief in inclusion and equity.

Recent experience working with children is required. Experience in a Primary School is advantageous, but not necessary. Candidates from various backgrounds such as: SMSAs, sports coaches, psychology graduates, youth workers, child minders and others with similar experience are welcome to apply.

-          Supporting year 4 children and responding appropriately to their needs

-          Simplifying tasks to ensure accessibility

-          Working alongside the class teacher to deliver interventions such as times tables

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
