The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering lessons, assisting with classroom management, preparing teaching materials, and providing one-to-one support to students. They may also supervise students during break times and support with administrative tasks.

GCSEs in English and Maths are essential. A relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience in a similar role is required.

A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths. Additional qualifications in education or relevant field are desirable.

Prior experience working in a classroom setting or as a teaching assistant is preferred.

Good understanding of classroom procedures, ability to work well with children, strong communication skills, and proficiency in using educational technology.

A Level qualifications, Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or any relevant degree in education or related field.

The role involves working within a school setting, following school hours and term times. The Teaching Assistant may need to support students with special educational needs and participate in training sessions as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
