We’re looking for an enthusiastic and caring EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our school in Blyth. If you enjoy working with young children and want to help them grow and learn in a supportive environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver fun, engaging activities for children in the Early Years.
  • Support children in small groups or one-to-one, helping them reach key milestones.
  • Help set up and maintain a stimulating learning environment, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and help create a nurturing, inclusive space for all children.
  • Support early phonics, maths, and literacy skills through play-based learning.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care.
  • Experience working in an Early Years setting.
  • A Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
  • A positive, patient, and nurturing attitude.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • A passion for helping young children develop and learn.
  • A friendly and supportive school environment.
