Position: Part-Time Learning Support Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting students in their educational journey? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis at a thriving school in Haywards Heath.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, helping them to engage fully in classroom activities.
  • Work closely with teachers to implement personalised learning strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth and development.
  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, offering feedback and adapting approaches as necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, particularly in a support or educational setting.
  • A strong understanding of different learning needs and strategies to support them.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant) are an advantage but not required.
