Are you an energetic and enthusiastic individual looking to make a positive impact on young learners with special educational needs? We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a leading SEN school in the Chorley area.

This is a long-term, flexible role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about supporting children with a range of learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure that each child’s learning plan is followed and adapted where necessary.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A lively, active individual who enjoys working with children and is willing to get involved in all aspects of school life, including physical activities.
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is preferred but not essential – a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
  • The flexibility to work on a long-term basis, with hours that may vary to meet the needs of the school.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both pupils and staff.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive, inclusive school environment where your contribution is valued.
  • Opportunities for professional development and on-the-job training.
  • Flexibility in hours and working patterns to suit your availability.
