Teaching personnel are working alongside a secondary school in Caldicot. It is a co-educational school which meets the needs of 11-18year olds with children of all abilities. They school are looking for an efficient, enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join us as a teaching assistant. The school looks to take on the finest teachers (and support staff) who will inspire, motivate and challenge our students to achieve their full potential.

Role Description

-          This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-known South Wales school located between Chepstow and Newport.

-          You will be working with year 7 students.

-          You will support the teacher in charge.

-          Support students working in the classroom.

The successful candidate should have

-          Excellent communication skills

-          You will need to be flexible and reliable.

-          You must have a friendly, approachable manner.

-          You should have a drive for working in education and helping children succeed.

Requirements

-          DBS cleared.

-          EWC registered.

-          Be able to provide 2 references.

-          Available to interview within the next 2 weeks

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
