Primary Teaching Assistant: 
This delightful North Manchester primary school require the services of a proactive and personable Primary Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 or KS2 classroom. Your main role will be supporting your class teacher to ensure the class runs smoothly, the safety of students is paramount, and academic progress is being made throughout.
This Primary Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal of any graduate or TA who is considering a career in primary teaching.
Primary Teaching Assistant – The Role: 

  • Support an experienced class teacher
  • Work with students on a 1:1, group and class basis
  • Ensure the class flow is running smoothly and students are safe
  • Provide mentoring and support to students 
  • Flexibility to support students with additional learning needs
Primary Teaching Assistant – Qualifications & skills required: 
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable
  • Level 3 ta or degree level of education is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Proactive and professional manner
  • Behaviour management skills
  • Passion and resilience to support primary students
