TEACHING ASSISTANT ROLE IN WARWICKSHIRE

Teaching Personnel Birmingham are working closely with an OFTSED rated Good school within Warwickshire to appoint a dedicated and reliable teaching assistant on a full time basis. The successful candidates must have had experience within schools/working with children and have the ability to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils.

 

The ideal candidate will:

- hold a Maths and English GCSE

- have relevant experience working with children

- have previous experience working in a school as a teaching assistant or support staff

- have experience with children with SEND

- be a strong communicator and be confident within the school

- have knowledge and understanding of safeguarding protocols

 

 

The role includes:

- Working flexibly and confidently with children with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs as well as those with wide ranging SEND.

- Working specifically with children with SEND and SEMH

- Collaborating with the class teacher to ensure an inclusive and positive learning environment

- Running interventions and activities with small groups or on a 1:1 and providing feedback to the class teacher

- Supporting the class in whole class activities
