Teaching Assistant Wanted in Sidmouth!

Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their learning journey? Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team in Sidmouth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher with preparation and clearing up of lesson materials.
  • Manage and maintain lesson materials like paper, pencils, and crayons.
  • Support children's learning by listening to them read, reading to them, or storytelling.
  • Help children with washing, dressing, and getting ready for outdoor and similar activities.
  • Create simple teaching aids and thematic displays showcasing educational material or children’s work.
  • Supervise and assist with outings and other out-of-classroom activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
