**No Teaching Assistant Experience Required**

Role duties/Dyletswyddau rôl:

• Assist the teacher whenever needed.
• Create an engaging and fun classroom atmosphere to help children thrive.
• Build positive relationships with the students.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for students to grow academically.
• Offer constructive and effective feedback on students' efforts.
• Encourage a child-centred approach to learning.
• Manage challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.

The ideal candidate will/Bydd yr ymgeisydd delfrydol yn:

• Hold a valid Enhanced DBS (child only) and be registered with the Education Workforce Council. Assistance can be provided if needed.
• Be able to converse fluently in Welsh
• A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A* - C.
• Confident in managing behaviour (experience preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build strong relationships with both students and staff.

• Initial period via Teaching Personnel, then onto permanent school contract after probation period is passed.
• Being the oldest Welsh Speaking school in Cardiff, the school is well established and has a rich history of academic and sporting accolade.
• With over 1400 students, from many different walks of life, there is no shortage of experience to be gained here.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
