We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and support secondary-aged pupils with mental health needs, as well as those with moderate Special Educational Needs (SEN). If you have experience in education or a relevant field, and are passionate about helping young people thrive in their learning and personal development, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with mental health challenges and moderate SEN needs
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning programs and classroom activities
  • Support teachers in creating an inclusive and positive learning environment
  • Help students manage emotions and behaviour, ensuring they feel safe and supported
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to meet individual pupil needs

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in education or a relevant field such as mental health support, SEN assistance, or youth work
  • A genuine interest in supporting students with emotional, social, and academic development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students
