TEACHING ASSISTANT

HAVE YOU HAD PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A TEACHING ASSISTANT WITHIN AN SEN OR SECONDARY SCHOOL SETTING?

A secondary school in the central Coventry area is seeking to appoint a passionate and reliable individual who has relevant experience to join their amazing, supportive team as a teaching assistant. This role is on a full time basis and the hours are 8:30-3:30 Monday- Friday (term time only.)

Pay rate:

£85-100 (per day, dependent upon experience)

The ideal candidate will have:

- GCSEs in English and Maths

- Relevant experience working with children in a school or educational setting

- Experience with children with SEN and SEMH whether this be personal or professional

- A positive and professional attitude

- Empathy and understanding

- a strong knowledge of safeguarding and an awareness of how to escalate concerns

- a passion for education and supporting children through their learning and development

- the ability to work with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis to enhance their learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
