Teaching Personnel are looking for a hard-working individual to enrol onto a guaranteed work scheme (GWS) to support Secondary schools across the Blackburn, Darwen, Accrington and Clitheroe area. We have a high demand for TA’s to work within the local area. Due to the volume of work coming through, Teaching Personnel have designed a guaranteed work scheme to offer candidates guaranteed work and to be paid if work isn’t available. The scheme is to ensure that you receive a regular income as well as providing the school with regular support. You will be expected to work across KS3/4 supporting as a general teaching assistant, working with small groups & children with special needs.

All the schools have a mixed catchment of children attending. There are high expectations for behaviour which is evident throughout all schools. The GWS scheme will commence as soon as possible and run until June 2025 break.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
