Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new and exciting opportunity in working with friendly and vibrant primary schools?

Do you want to make a difference to the lives of children and support their learning and development?

Teaching Personnel are looking for Primary Teaching Assistants to join our partnership schools in the Stockport area.

In this role as a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis, providing additional support and intervention
  • Support the class teacher in delivering exciting and engaging lessons, preparing resources and supporting with cases of challenging behavior
  • Supervise breaks and lunch times, making sure children are safe and secure
  • And much more!

The ideal Teaching Assistant, will have:  

  • Previous Teaching Assistant experience, either paid or voluntary
  • Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD
  • Good subject knowledge across a variety of curriculum subjects including English, Maths and Science
  • The ability to be proactive and use your own initiative within the classroom
  • Full time availability within school hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
