Teaching Assistant – Level 2 (Temporary to Permanent Opportunity)

Are you passionate about education and looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the Accrington area. This is a fantastic temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

Start date: Ideally ASAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students across a range of subjects, helping them to achieve their full potential
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support where needed
  • Help to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
  • Support students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have access to the curriculum

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting
  • A relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • A patient, caring, and motivated individual who can engage well with students
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • A commitment to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students
