The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering educational activities, assist with classroom management, provide one-on-one assistance to students, help in preparing lesson materials, and supervise students during breaks and outings.

Must have a minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in an educational setting is essential.

A Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, but relevant experience will also be considered.

Prior experience working in a school or educational environment is required. Experience working with children or young adults is highly desirable.

Good understanding of classroom dynamics, ability to communicate effectively with both students and teachers, strong organisational skills, and the capacity to adapt to different learning styles.

A Level 3 Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent would be advantageous.

The Teaching Assistant role involves working in a school setting, following the school term calendar. The position may require occasional extra hours for school events or meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
