Education and Training

£83.95 - £95 Per day

• Supporting classroom teachers in delivering educational programmes
• Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources
• Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
• Supervising students during lessons and activities
• Assisting with the assessment and evaluation of student progress

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Experience working in a school or educational setting

• Good understanding of the national curriculum
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience and empathy when working with students

• First Aid certification
• Experience working with students with special educational needs

This role involves working in a classroom environment, following the school's academic calendar. The Teaching Assistant may need to assist with extracurricular activities and events outside of normal school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
